Colour Me Happy: Rainbow Optimism

We're all needing a bit of colour in our lives at the moment, and with the current situation dampening our spirits, we're turning to bold and intense colour to cheer us up. Rainbows colours are a unifying symbol of positivity and hope, with soothing blues adding a sense of reassurance.

Let us know what you think to this palette! Would you use it?

Colour Me Happy!

I think we're all needing an injection of colour at the moment,
so here's a nature inspired slice of colour inspo to make you say ahhhhh.

Shots of bright lilac are cheerfully popping up everywhere at the moment,
much like the pretty florals the colour takes its name from,
and paired with tones of green and mint it makes a lovely
fresh palette that makes us think of summer meadows!

Colour Me Happy!

It's been a while since we've posted a bit of palette inspiration,
and with everything seeming a bit drab at the moment we think
we're in need of a little bit of colour.

This combo of peach and sage is cheering us right up,
especially with the addition of a soft blue-grey and a pop of poppy!

Colour Me Happy!

Houseplants add a touch of nature to our homes through all the seasons
(if we manage to keep them alive that is!)
so we're taking this gorgeous foliage inspired palette into autumn
with a dash of ochre and a sprinkling of dusky pink.
Lovely!

Colour Me Happy!

We're still loving earthy tones here at P&C,
but the edition of deep teal takes this colour trend from the desert to more tropical landscapes:
think the edges of lush jungles spilling over onto sandy beaches!

We absolutely love these pastel brights
(especially when they come in yummy doughnut form!)

Here's a bit of colour inspiration to brighten up your morning!

Millennial pink is here to stay, but get's a bold update with shots of cobalt blue,
pops of mustard and our favourite burnt orange. Yum!

Colour Me Happy!

This living room set up is serious #goals, especially the
pretty spring-like palette paired with industrial feeling accents.

Fresh and feminine, we're really feeling this mix of
acid yellow and softer, more muted tones.

Paired with the shining sun & mild weather,
dare we say spring is on its way? Hooray!

Today's palette draws inspiration from pastel tones seen in on-trend dried florals,
and is such a gorgeous contemporary take on pretty and feminine.

The colour yellow is having a bit of a moment, which couldn't be
more welcome on cold, drab days like this!

We really love this fresh combo of colours,
hopefully bringing a little shot of happiness into your day.

Soft candy pink with a shot of cobalt blue are cheering us up this morning
in this pretty but cool colour palette.

We love the way this palette is used with painterly and inky textures - there's just something so nice about brush strokes in blue, don't you think?

We're in love with this palette of purple tones with teal and deep green,
and as Pantone of the Year is "Ultra Violet" this year, we think it's bang on trend!

With the addition of those gorgeous earthy tones, this pink and blue palette is the perfect update for 2018. It conjures up desert adventures and hot hazy days in a calming oasis - a million miles away from what we're currently experiencing here in the U.K!
